Pre Order processing
All Pre-Orders will be made and shipped as a priority on the date indicated on the home page.
When will my order be shipped?
All our lampshades are made to order and require 2-3 weeks processing time.
Who delivers my order?
We typically work with UPS or DPD local to deliver your orders in the UK.
We use FedEx for all international orders.
We may occasionally use a different courier if it is more reliable or cost-effective for us to do so.
How much does the shipping cost?
Delivery to mainland UK is free of charge
Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland - £20
International delivery prices are volatile and the total will be calculated at the checkout. We advise to budget a minimum of £50 for international courier delivery. We are unable to offer favourable international rates for lamps over 60cm in diameter. Currently, the shipping cost is set at £260. We reserve the right to request additional shipping fee if the totals considerably exceed the rates advertised at the time of order. Similarly, we will refund any excess shipping should these rates be lower than expected when the packaging is ready to ship.
If you are able to make your own delivery arrangements with a more favourable rate, please kindly let us know and we will work with you to save you the cost.
For custom orders, the shipping charges will be finalised once your lamp shade has been made and we know the final size and weight of the packaging.
Will I have to pay custom charges?
Custom charge threshold and any associated handling fees are set by individual country's customs and are a responsibility of a buyer. We advise you checking the local customs' website for further information.
No refunds will be given for any unexpected charges incurred by customers.
Returns and cancellations
If you have any doubts about the sizing and colour of your shade, it is best to get in touch with us before placing the order. We are happy to offer advice and further guidance to help you avoid costly returns.
You have the right to cancel your order at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your lamp shade. You must notify us via email at ana@hupuatelier.com if you wish to cancel your order within this time period. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return your order.
The cost of return postage is the buyers responsibility, unless otherwise arranged and we recommend you send the shade back with a tracked service to ensure safe delivery. We can not be responsible for any loss or damages to returned items. Please ensure they reach us in saleable condition in order to qualify for a full refund.
Please do not return any orders before contacting us first. Forced returns will not be processed. Please, where possible, include your full name and/or order number inside the return package to help us process your refund faster.
